Our Process
Five phases to a flawless install
Phase 1
Tear Off and Structural Inspection
- Total demolition down to bare sheathing
- Sheathing assessment for dry rot, water stains, mold or insect infestation
- Wood repair of compromised panels
Phase 2
Weather Resistant Barrier and Insulation
- House wrap applied shingle fashion with overlapping layers taped at all seams
- Optional rigid foam insulation for added thermal performance
Phase 3
Flashing, Starter Strips and Trim Channels
- Self adhering flashing tape around all windows and doors
- Kick out and roof to wall flashing
- A level, heavy gauge starter strip
- Plumb corner posts and J channels
Phase 4
Siding Material Application
- Thermal expansion spacing, critical for vinyl
- Center nailing into the middle of pre punched slots
- The loose nailing rule, leaving roughly a dime thickness so panels slide freely
- Blind nailing for fiber cement and wood per manufacturer specification
- Staggered seams to prevent noticeable vertical lines
Phase 5
Trim, Sealing and Final Walk Through
- Soffit and fascia installation
- High grade caulking at all joints
- Magnet sweep and cleanup of the yard and driveway
- Final walk through checking every row is level and all joints are tightly sealed
